The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically correct and optimized provision of its services. Any other cookies (e.g., for analyzing your browsing behavior) are described separately in this privacy policy.

5. Analytics Tools and Advertising

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics, provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called „cookies“—text files stored on your computer that enable the analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both the web offering and advertising.

IP Anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymization feature on this website. This means that Google truncates your IP address within the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmitting it to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google uses this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the site, compile reports on website activity, and provide further services related to website usage and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, please note that doing so may prevent you from using the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of that data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Objection to Data Collection

You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link: [Deactivate Google Analytics]. An opt-out cookie will be set, preventing the collection of your data during future visits to this website.

More information about how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google’s privacy policy:
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

Data Processing Agreement

We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Demographic Features in Google Analytics

This website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated containing information on the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. These data are derived from interest-based advertising by Google and third-party visitor data. This data cannot be attributed to any specific individual. You can disable this feature at any time in your Google account settings or generally prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data.

Microsoft Advertising

We use Microsoft Advertising by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA.

The purpose of data processing is marketing and performance measurement (conversion tracking). We learn the total number of users who clicked on a Microsoft ad and were redirected to a conversion-tagged page. Personal identification is not possible.

Microsoft Advertising uses technologies such as cookies and tracking pixels. When you click on a Microsoft ad, a conversion tracking cookie is set. This cookie expires after a limited time and does not serve personal identification. Information that may be collected includes: IP address, browser, device type, referrer URL, and the URL of our website.

Data may be transferred to the USA. Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (TADPF).

Data is processed only with your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and §25(1) TTDSG. You can revoke your consent at any time.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking

This website uses Google AdWords and conversion tracking, a service provided by Google Inc.

When you click on a Google ad, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to identify users personally. If a user visits certain pages on the site and the cookie is still valid, Google and we can tell that the user clicked the ad and was redirected to that page.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The information collected is used to create conversion statistics for customers using conversion tracking.

If you don’t want to participate in tracking, you can disable the cookie via your browser settings. You will then not be included in the tracking statistics.

The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for protection against abuse and spam.
